Celebration of Life

Ileana’s family would like to invite all of those that wish to celebrate her life to join us on Friday, September 23rd at 4-7pm in Quiet Waters Park, Annapolis, MD.  We will be in the Blue Heron Pavilion at 600 Quiet Waters Park Road.  The speaking portion will take place from roughly 5-6pm.  Light food and drink will be provided.  

 

As this is a celebration, please dress comfortably.  The family will be wearing colors, and we’d love the evening to be as bright as Ileana was for all of us.  Come ready to reminisce, share stories, grieve, and simply be together.

 

If you wish to make a gesture in Ili’s honor, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made here.  Ili’s life was defined by a relentless commitment to making the world better through her distinguished career in public service, her endless love of family, and her inspiring sense of purpose.  Efforts in her memory will honor and cherish those same values.  Gifts will be directed to a charitable donation in Ili’s name to a cause dear to her heart and the family will share those details here once they are finalized. 

 

The venue can accommodate as many people as can make it, if you know you will be attending please rsvp below.  If you are unable to rsvp at this time, we completely understand - please know you are welcome and encouraged to show up regardless
